Shackleton Conference 2025 - Submerged Quaternary Landscapes

The fourth Shackleton Conference will focus on vanished landscapes; the seafloor as a geological palimpsest retaining sketchy evidence for Quaternary landscapes that have been erased by the effects of ice sheets, tidal dynamics and marine transgression. 

We’ll be looking for abstracts related to any of the session topics below, 

1. Ice sheet dynamics
2. Human occupation of submerged landscapes
3. Tidal dynamics and the changing physical environment
4. The effect of wind farms and other modern infrastructure on submerged landscapes
